Accounting Manager OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to support and manage the day-to-day financial operations of our organization. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, deep knowledge of GAAP, and experience working in complex, multi-entity environments such as construction, service, and distribution.The Accounting Manager will oversee core accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, support multi-entity consolidation, strengthen internal controls, and assist in building out a scalable corporate accounting structure. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, streamlining processes, and supporting organizational growth.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage the preparation and review of monthly financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance.</li><li>Oversee multi-entity consolidations, including intercompany eliminations, reconciliations, and consolidated reporting.</li><li>Assist in designing, improving, and building out a corporate accounting structure that supports organizational expansion and operational complexity.</li><li>Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.</li><li>Perform and review account reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and account analysis for all entities.</li><li>Support cash management activities through timely reporting, monitoring of cash balances, and coordination with leadership.</li><li>Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting procedures, and compliance programs.</li><li>Prepare audit schedules and support external auditors with required documentation and explanations.</li><li>Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and other financial planning activities.</li><li>Maintain strong technical accounting skills, including double-entry bookkeeping, debits/credits, and general ledger processes.</li><li>Utilize and support ongoing improvements in Acumatica or other ERP systems, including multi-company setups and financial reporting.</li><li>Supervise and provide direction to accounting staff involved in journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR workflows, and month-end close.</li><li>Prepare financial reports and analysis for senior management as needed.</li><li>Assist in developing process improvements and scalable accounting workflows to support rapid growth.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and standard accounting procedures.</li><li>Experience in multi-entity accounting, consolidations, and intercompany transactions.</li><li>Background in building or improving corporate accounting structures, policies, and processes.</li><li>Experience in construction, distribution, or service-based industries preferred.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in account reconciliation, general ledger management, journal entries, and month-end closing.</li><li>Strong technical accounting skills including double-entry bookkeeping, debits/credits, and payroll fundamentals.</li><li>Ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate insights clearly to leadership.</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills, including financial report writing.</li><li>Experience with modern ERP systems (Acumatica Required).</li><li>Demonstrated leadership ability with experience supervising accounting staff.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) 3% Match</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have Acumatica experience</li></ul>Work Location: In person
