Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our painting and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial painting projects, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including restoration, remodeling, and new construction, utilizing a wide range of tools and materials. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical skills necessary for high-quality craftsmanship. Company is growing and would an individual who is looking for a long term employment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.</li><li>Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment (including airless paint spraying), and power tools.</li><li>Read blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and ensure accurate application of finishes.</li><li>Lead a team of experienced painters and assistant painters.</li><li>Use hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, caulking guns, and carpentry tools for surface preparation and finishing touches.</li><li>Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste properly.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers to estimate materials needed and adhere to project timelines.</li><li>Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site at all times.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting,</li><li>Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in painting and surface preparation.</li><li>Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety standards is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.</li><li>Must have a reliable vehicle to get to work locations.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Tools provided</li></ul>Work Location: In person
