Experienced Painter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our painting and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial painting projects, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including restoration, remodeling, and new construction, utilizing a wide range of tools and materials. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical skills necessary for high-quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment (including airless paint spraying), and power tools.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and ensure accurate application of finishes.
• Lead a team of experienced painters and assistant painters.
• Use hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, caulking guns, and carpentry tools for surface preparation and finishing touches.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste properly.
• Collaborate with project managers to estimate materials needed and adhere to project timelines.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting,
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in painting and surface preparation.
• Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety standards is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
• Must have a reliable vehicle to get to work locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
