J-Raffe Fabrication is looking for a Custom Automotive Fabricator who has demonstrated skill in custom automotive fabrication including sheet metal, chassis, MIG/ TIG welding, etc. to add to our growing team. Responsibilities<ul><li>Custom metal and custom sheet metal fabrication, forming, and shaping</li><li>Intensive rust repair of body, frame, and other vehicle components</li><li>Construct and fabricate sheet metal components for a variety of automobiles</li><li>Accurately form and shape material to prescribed measurements</li><li>Autobody repair</li><li>Deliver high-quality work for clients</li><li>TIG and MIG welding</li><li>Tube bending, fitting, and notching</li><li>Floor pan replacement and patch welding</li><li>Need to be able to safely operate a variety of hand and power tools and keep work areas clean</li><li>Handle many phases of intensive long-term projects</li><li>Maintain records of time needed to complete each operation</li><li>Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule</li><li>Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.)</li><li>Maintain equipment and tools in good condition</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>MUST&#8239;have previous experience as a welder/ fabricator in the automotive industry (or as a hobby)</li><li>MUST&#8239;be a proficient welder in TIG and MIG welding</li><li>MUST&#8239;be experienced welding with stainless steel</li><li>MUST&#8239;be experienced with metal fabrication (custom tube work, exhaust fabrication, suspension fabrication, bead rolling, fender rolling, fixture building, roll cage building/installation, custom fitting fenders, trunk lids, hoods, doors, etc.).</li></ul>The work schedule is 4 10-hour days, Monday - Thursday. We offer PTO from the start and 7 paid holidays. $25-40 an hour depending on automotive industry experience. We also offer 401k and an annual $250 tool reimbursement.
