Job Overview: J Salon is hiring a professional, organized, and client-focused Front Desk Receptionist for our busy nail salon in Chicago&rsquo;s West Loop.Russian language skills are a significant advantage because many members of our team speak Russian. However, strong English communication skills are required for working with clients.Responsibilities<ul><li>Welcome clients and create a professional, friendly salon experience</li><li>Answer phone calls, text messages, emails, and booking inquiries</li><li>Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments</li><li>Explain salon services, pricing, and policies clearly</li><li>Check clients in and out and process payments</li><li>Help clients select the correct service and nail technician</li><li>Rebook clients before they leave</li><li>Communicate appointment changes with nail technicians</li><li>Monitor the salon schedule and help prevent delays</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area</li><li>Assist management with basic administrative tasks</li><li>Handle client concerns calmly and professionally</li><li>Follow salon policies consistently</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Strong English communication skills</li><li>Russian language is a big plus</li><li>Previous front desk, receptionist, hospitality, retail, or customer-service experience preferred</li><li>Comfortable using computers, booking systems, email, and text messaging</li><li>Organized and able to manage several tasks at the same time</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and responsible</li><li>Professional appearance and communication style</li><li>Able to remain calm in a busy environment</li><li>Comfortable discussing prices, policies, cancellations, and scheduling issues with clients</li><li>Available to work weekends and salon business hours as needed</li><li>Legally authorized to work in the United States</li></ul>Ideal CandidateYou are attentive, confident, and comfortable communicating with both clients and team members.
