Yard Operations Executive Position Title: Yard Operations ExecutiveDepartment: Operations / Yard ManagementLocation: Banjara layout (Horamavu)Reporting To: Yard Manager / Operations Manager1. Position OverviewThe Parking Yard Operations Executive is responsible for the day-to-day management of vehicle flow, yard organisation, documentation, and coordination with internal &amp; external stakeholders. The role ensures vehicles are received, parked, monitored, moved, and dispatched in a timely and safe manner while maintaining accurate records and operational efficiency.2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Yard Operations Management<ul><li>Oversee inbound and outbound movement of vehicles as per schedule.</li><li>Ensure vehicles are parked in designated zones based on category, status, or priority.</li><li>Monitor yard capacity and optimize space utilization.</li><li>Perform periodic yard inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and orderliness.</li><li>Coordinate with security for vehicle gate passes, access control, and log maintenance.</li></ul>B. Vehicle Handling &amp; Monitoring<ul><li>Conduct preliminary checks of vehicles during entry and exit (e.g., VIN/chassis number, physical condition, accessories).</li><li>Verify that each vehicle is placed in the correct slot in the yard management system (YMS).</li><li>Monitor and record vehicle movement within the yard.</li><li>Ensure that towing, shifting or handling is done carefully to avoid damages.</li></ul>C. Documentation &amp; System Updates<ul><li>Maintain accurate logs of inbound/outbound vehicles.</li><li>Update yard inventory in the Yard Management System / Excel / ERP dashboard.</li><li>Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly yard reports (occupancy, vehicle movement, pending dispatches).</li><li>Ensure documents like GRN, delivery challans, inspection sheets, and gate passes are handled accurately.</li></ul>D. Coordination &amp; Communication<ul><li>Liaise with transporters, drivers, security, and operational supervisors.</li><li>Coordinate with sales/admin/inspection teams for vehicle availability.</li><li>Communicate any delays, damages, shortages, or discrepancies to concerned departments immediately.</li><li>Support auction teams or dispatch teams by arranging vehicles as per requirement.</li></ul>E. Compliance, Safety &amp; Security<ul><li>Ensure all safety protocols related to yard operations are followed.</li><li>Monitor CCTV, access control, and security arrangements.</li><li>Report any unauthorized movement or safety hazards.</li><li>Support audits and implement corrective actions.</li></ul>F. Process Improvement<ul><li>Identify bottlenecks in yard operations and suggest improvements.</li><li>Assist in implementing SOPs, 5S, digital yard mapping, and automation initiatives.</li><li>Improve turnaround time (TAT) for vehicle movement and dispatch.</li></ul>3. Required Skills &amp; CompetenciesTechnical Skills<ul><li>Understanding of yard management, warehouse/parking operations, or vehicle logistics.</li><li>Ability to work with YMS / ERP / Excel / Google Sheets.</li><li>Familiarity with vehicle inspection processes (optional but preferred).</li><li>Basic knowledge of safety and compliance.</li></ul>Soft Skills<ul><li>Strong communication and coordination abilities.</li><li>Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to multitask and work under pressure.</li><li>Team player with leadership handling capability.</li></ul>4. Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Education: 12th Pass+</li><li>Experience:</li><li>0&ndash;2 years in yard operations / logistics / inventory management / automobile operations preferred.</li><li>Freshers with strong willingness to learn may be considered (based on industry).</li><li>License: LMV license preferred (optional, based on role).</li><li>Multiple language high preferred</li></ul>5. Physical / Work Conditions<ul><li>Must be comfortable working in outdoor yard environment.</li><li>Requires standing, walking, and supervising across the yard.</li><li>Work hours may extend based on operational requirement.</li></ul>6. KPIs / Performance Indicators<ul><li>Yard occupancy accuracy.</li><li>Vehicle tracking accuracy (system vs physical).</li><li>Turnaround Time (TAT) for inbound/outbound vehicle movement.</li><li>Compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Reduction in vehicle damage and misplacement incidents.</li><li>Timely submission of reports.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;15,000.00 - &#8377;18,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
