Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced retail environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with their purchases, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. A strong focus on customer satisfaction and effective communication is essential.Duties<ul><li>Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.</li><li>Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to maintain an organized store layout.</li><li>Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and promote sales.</li><li>Utilize upselling techniques to increase sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.</li><li>Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and perform basic math calculations for transactions.</li><li>Supervise junior staff when necessary, ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures.</li><li>Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with cashiering processes and cash handling is essential.</li><li>Basic math skills are required for accurate transaction processing.</li><li>Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as communication with diverse customers is valued.</li><li>Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members.</li><li>Supervising experience is a plus, as you may be responsible for guiding less experienced associates.
