The Front Desk Representative is the first point of contact for patients at our pain management clinic. This role is responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, handling phone calls, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate patient records. A professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach are essential to ensure a positive experience for patients dealing with chronic pain.<br>

<b>Key Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Greet patients warmly and professionally as they arrive at the clinic.</li><li>
Answer and manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and route messages to appropriate staff.</li><li>
Check patients in and out, verifying demographic and insurance information.</li><li>
Collect co-pays, balances, and other payments; provide receipts and maintain financial records.</li><li>
Maintain confidentiality of patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>
Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and insurance verifications as needed.</li><li>
Keep the front office and waiting area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials.</li><li>
Coordinate with medical assistants and providers to ensure smooth patient flow.</li><li>
Monitor and respond to emails and patient portal messages in a timely manner.</li><li>
Support administrative tasks such as scanning documents, filing, and faxing.</li></ul><div><br>

Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent (required).</li><li>
Prior experience in a medical office setting, preferably in pain management or orthopedics (preferred).</li><li>
Knowledge of medical terminology, scheduling systems (e.g., EHR/EMR), and insurance verification processes (preferred).</li><li>
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.</li></ul><div><br>

 The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and equipment to support safe patient care in an outpatient surgical center. This role ensures that all surgical instruments and supplies are processed according to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and facility policies to maintain a sterile and safe environment for surgical procedures.

 The technician works closely with clinical and operating room staff to ensure timely instrument availability and compliance with infection control and sterilization standards.

  Instrument Reprocessing and Sterilization:

   Receive, sort, and decontaminate surgical instruments, equipment, and trays following established infection prevention protocols.
  </li>
  <li>
   Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage; identify items requiring repair or replacement.
  </li>
  <li>
   Assemble instrument trays and surgical sets accurately in accordance with count sheets and surgeon preference cards.
  </li>
  <li>
   Operate and monitor washers, ultrasonic cleaners, autoclaves, and other sterilization equipment.
  </li>
  <li>
   Select appropriate sterilization methods (steam, low-temperature, or chemical) based on equipment specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain accurate sterilization records, logs, and documentation to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.

  Inventory, Storage, And Distribution

   Maintain adequate inventory levels of sterile supplies, surgical instruments, and disposable materials.

   Ensure sterile storage areas remain clean, organized, and protected from contamination.
  </li>

   Deliver sterile trays, case carts, and surgical supplies to designated clinical areas in a timely manner.
  </li>
  <li>
   Rotate stock appropriately to prevent expiration and ensure readiness for surgical cases.

   Follow infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

   Participate in continuing education, in-service training, and quality improvement initiatives as required.

   Completion of a Sterile Processing / Central Service Technician training program preferred.

   Current certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT), or Certified Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).
  </li>
  <li>
   Minimum one (1) year of sterile processing experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center, outpatient clinic, or hospital setting.
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience using electronic instrument tracking systems preferred.

Sterile Processing Technician

<div><div>The Operations Assistant supports the daily operational and administrative functions of the organization to ensure efficient workflow across clinical and administrative departments. Systems &amp; Technology Administration:</b></div><ul><li>
Set up and maintain new user profiles for operational systems, including ECW, 8x8 phone systems, downloads, and navigation applications.</li><li>
Coordinate with external IT vendors (such as Discovertec) to resolve system issues and ensure minimal disruption to operations.</li><li>
Maintain and track IT inventory, including equipment assignments and device management.</li></ul><div>

Communication &amp; Call Center Support:</b></div><ul><li>
Assist with configuring after-hours answering services and ensure messages are properly routed to the appropriate departments or providers.</li><li>
Monitor call center performance metrics and ensure adherence to organizational policies and service standards.</li></ul><div>

Administrative &amp; Operational Support:</b></div><ul><li>
Provide general operational assistance to leadership and clinical departments as needed.</li><li>
Travel to other clinic locations to assist with urgent operational needs when required.</li><li>

Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
Education: A high school diploma or GED is required. An associate degree in business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred.</li><li>
