As the dental assistant you must feel comfortable with digital x-rays, impressions, and basic dental assisting.Qualifications:<ul><li>At least 1 year in dental assisting experience</li><li>X-ray certification</li><li>CPR certification</li><li>Graduate from Dental Assisting School</li><li>High School Diploma</li><li>Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods</li><li>Understanding of health &amp; safety regulations</li><li>Excellent communication and people skills</li><li>Well-organized and reliable</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort</li><li>Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed</li><li>Sterilize instruments according to regulations</li><li>Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry</li><li>Undertake lab tasks as instructed</li><li>Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions</li><li>Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Sick Pay</li><li>Holiday Pay</li><li>Free dental care for you and your immediate family</li><li>Great work life balance!</li><li>Pay is paid based on experience</li></ul>Hours of Operation: Non-negotiable days are Wednesdays and Thursdays <ul><li>Monday 7:30AM-5PM</li><li>Tuesday 6:45AM-2PM</li><li>Wednesday 8:30AM-6PM</li><li>Thursday: 7:30AM-5PM</li><li>Fridays: 7:30AM-3PM</li></ul>Check us out at Jbdentist.com and see what we are all about.
