Job SummaryJedidiah Gallery &amp; Design Store is hiring a part-time Sales Associate to join our team. We&rsquo;re looking for someone with proven retail sales experience who&rsquo;s excited to learn the art + design retail world (product knowledge, framing/art handling basics, store operations). You don&rsquo;t need an art background &mdash; we&rsquo;ll train the right person.This role starts at ~15 hours/week, with the opportunity to grow into more hours and potential full-timebased on performance and store needs.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Provide friendly, confident customer service and close sales</li><li>Learn and communicate product details (prints, art pieces, framing options, gift items)</li><li>Support daily store operations (opening/closing tasks, cleaning, restocking, merchandising)</li><li>Handle and move artwork safely; assist with hanging artwork on walls</li><li>Process transactions accurately and help maintain an organized sales floor</li><li>Support inventory tasks and basic back-of-house organization</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Retail sales experience required (ability to sell, not just assist)</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required</li><li>Coachable, reliable, and motivated to learn new products + systems</li><li>Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-first attitude</li><li>Comfortable standing/walking for long periods in a retail environment</li><li>Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks (moving art, hanging work)</li><li>Detail-oriented and able to follow store standards consistently</li><li>Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) consistently.</li></ul>Workplace Policy (Important)<ul><li>Personal cell phone use is prohibited on the sales floor (except approved emergencies/breaks). We&rsquo;re serious about being fully present with customers.</li></ul>What You&rsquo;ll Need to Succeed<ul><li>Strong focus and attention to detail while handling transactions and artwork</li><li>Ability to follow store policies consistently (including no personal phone use on the sales floor)</li><li>Calm, professional communication in a busy retail environment</li><li>Ability to switch tasks quickly (customers, checkout, restocking, hanging art)</li><li>Reliable attendance and punctuality</li></ul>Schedule &amp; Pay<ul><li>Starting: ~15 hours/week</li><li>Pay: Hourly rate + performance bonus</li><li>Growth: Opportunity for increased hours and potential full-time based on results</li></ul>Pay: From $15.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Work Location: In person
