SOCIAL SERVICES ATTORNEYThe Department of Social Services is seeking a qualified attorney to perform professional legal work, providing essential counsel and representation for the department. This position involves responsibility for prosecuting legal actions and offering related legal services under the general direction of the Commissioner of Social Services. The successful candidate will act as a key legal consultant to various divisions, including Child Welfare and Public Assistance, and will represent the Department in Family Court matters such as child abuse, neglect, foster care, adoption, and child support.
