We believe the best work comes from people who feel heard and respected, and we&rsquo;re looking for an experienced landscaper who wants more than just a job &mdash; someone who wants to bring their skills and ideas to a company that truly values them.About the RoleAs our Crew Leader, you&rsquo;ll be the driving force on the job site, leading a crew across residential and commercial properties throughout the Kalamazoo area. You won&rsquo;t just be following orders &mdash; your experience and input will help shape how we work and grow.Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and supervise a landscape installation crew on residential and commercial job sites</li><li>Direct and perform planting of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and groundcovers according to design plans</li><li>Install and grade topsoil, compost, and mulch to proper specifications</li><li>Oversee and perform sodding, seeding, and lawn establishment tasks</li><li>Read and interpret landscape design plans and translate them into high-quality installations</li><li>Operate earth moving equipment (skid steer, mini skid steer, mini excavator) for site prep and grading</li><li>Delegate tasks and keep the crew on schedule to meet project timelines</li><li>Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and design standards before leaving a site</li><li>Communicate professionally with clients and address on-site concerns</li><li>Complete job site documentation, timesheets, and daily reports as required</li><li>Enforce safety protocols and ensure all crew members follow proper procedures</li><li>Transport crew and equipment safely between job sites</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>2&ndash;4 years of landscaping experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role</li><li>Valid Chauffeur&rsquo;s license required</li><li>Strong knowledge of plants, turf, and landscape maintenance practices</li><li>Proven ability to lead a team and keep work moving efficiently</li><li>Physically capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions</li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills</li><li>Experience operating earth moving equipment (skid steer, mini skid steer, mini excavator, etc.) strongly preferred</li><li>Snow plowing experience strongly preferred</li><li>Irrigation experience a plus</li><li>Experience with the LMN Crew app a plus</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>$23&ndash;$28 per hour, based on experience</li><li>A collaborative, people-first company culture where your voice matters</li><li>Room to grow with a company that&rsquo;s expanding in the Kalamazoo area</li><li>The chance to contribute your ideas and help shape how we do things</li></ul>Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hourWork Location: In person
