Our residents enjoy a full range of social and cultural programs and activities while residing in our independent and assisted living communities.Position Overview: The Dining Room Wait Staff/Server is responsible for serving residents&rsquo; and guest meals in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Assures that beverages, soups and busing are completed according to proper procedures and resident's dietary needs are met based on requests and diet restrictions.Essential Duties: Wait Staff/Server<ul><li>Serving of entrees and desserts, clearing of resident plates and waste items throughout the meal, and the proper sanitation procedures followed during clean up.</li><li>Ensures residents/guests have an enjoyable meal.</li><li>Ensures the assigned job is carried out in a professional, friendly manner.</li><li>Communicates appropriately with supervisors, dining room staff and guests; listens effectively.</li><li>Ensures proper production and presentation of all food items and provides maximum appeal and freshness.</li><li>Maintains kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning schedule.</li><li>Is able to maintain a clean professional appearance, appropriate for working with the general public.</li><li>Seeks to exceed resident expectations by engaging them in conversation if appropriate and anticipating their needs.</li><li>Flexibility and dependability are essential.</li><li>Shifts are flexible and can include days, afternoons, evenings, weekdays and weekends.</li><li>This position is paid wages .
