Dining Servers/ Wait staff

Position Overview: The Dining Room Wait Staff/Server is responsible for serving residents’ and guest meals in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Assures that beverages, soups and busing are completed according to proper procedures and resident's dietary needs are met based on requests and diet restrictions.

Essential Duties: Wait Staff/Server

• Serving of entrees and desserts, clearing of resident plates and waste items throughout the meal, and the proper sanitation procedures followed during clean up.
• Ensures residents/guests have an enjoyable meal.
• Ensures the assigned job is carried out in a professional, friendly manner.
• Communicates appropriately with supervisors, dining room staff and guests; listens effectively.
• Ensures proper production and presentation of all food items and provides maximum appeal and freshness.
• Maintains kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning schedule.
• Is able to maintain a clean professional appearance, appropriate for working with the general public.
• Seeks to exceed resident expectations by engaging them in conversation if appropriate and anticipating their needs.
• Flexibility and dependability are essential.
• Shifts are flexible and can include days, afternoons, evenings, weekdays and weekends.
• This position is paid wages . Tips are not accepted.
