Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Salad Bar Attendant/Server Assistant, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create an engaging and welcoming dining experience for our guests. In this role, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for maintaining a fresh, appealing salad bar, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the serving staff to ensure smooth operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a dynamic environment.Duties<ul><li>Set up and maintain the salad bar, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, well-stocked, and attractively presented</li><li>Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling salads, and portioning ingredients according to safety standards</li><li>Support servers by bussing trays, clearing dishes, and helping with guest inquiries to enhance guest satisfaction</li><li>Uphold cleanliness standards through regular cleaning of work areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests courteously and addressing dietary needs or questions professionally</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous kitchen experience or food handling background preferred; experience in food preparation or catering is a plus</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures</li><li>Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and cleaning</li><li>Hospitality or guest service experience, including host/hostess or serving roles, is beneficial</li><li>Ability to lift at least 50 LB.</li><li>Familiarity with dietary accommodations, meal preparation, and basic culinary skills such as knife handling or meat cutting is desirable</li><li>A positive attitude with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills</li></ul>Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences!
