Duties

• Set up and maintain the salad bar, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, well-stocked, and attractively presented
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling salads, and portioning ingredients according to safety standards
• Support servers by bussing trays, clearing dishes, and helping with guest inquiries to enhance guest satisfaction
• Uphold cleanliness standards through regular cleaning of work areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests courteously and addressing dietary needs or questions professionally

Requirements

• Previous kitchen experience or food handling background preferred; experience in food preparation or catering is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and cleaning
• Hospitality or guest service experience, including host/hostess or serving roles, is beneficial
• Ability to lift at least 50 LB.
• Familiarity with dietary accommodations, meal preparation, and basic culinary skills such as knife handling or meat cutting is desirable
• A positive attitude with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
