Daytime Ice Cream Shop Associate (Production + Customer Service)

$18/hour plus tips — Part-time (20 hrs/week)

Very small independent ice cream shop in Falls Church looking for a reliable daytime person.

Tuesday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

This is not a chain and not an overstaffed environment. You will often be working independently and are expected to stay productive without constant direction.

What the job actually is:

• Serve customers
• Take orders and prepare ice cream, coffee, and drinks
• Keep things moving efficiently
• Scoop and pack pint containers
• Label and organize freezer inventory
• Keep the shop clean, stocked, and presentable
• Help prepare items for future orders

There is always something to do. This is not a “stand around and wait” job.

What matters most:

• Reliable and on time
• Honest and trustworthy
• Comfortable working independently
• Good with customers, but also productive when it’s quiet
• Able to take responsibility for the space

About the shop:

We serve high-quality ice cream made on the farm, along with coffee and other drinks.
Small team, not overstaffed, so tips are solid.
