We are actively searching for several full-time Assistant Managers. Prior management experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual(s). Alongside the General Manager, an Assistant Manager oversee in-store operations and plays a major role in ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that our employees are performing their duties properly and efficiently. An Assistant Manager must lead by example as they execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity.

Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
Ability to work a 40 &ndash; 50 hours per week</li><li>
At least 18 years of age</li><li>
Basic understanding of E-mail, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel</li><li>
Ability to handle fast-paced and high-stress situations in the store</li><li>
Organized with strong aptitude in establishing priorities in the store with minimal supervision</li><li>
Comfortable with delegating tasks and coaching staff including sandwich makers and delivery drivers/bikers</li><li>
Ability to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts</li><li>
Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift</li><li>
Ability to work a variety of daytime lunch, evening/night and weekend shifts</li><li>

This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to grow your skills while making a positive impact on those in need.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices.</li><li>Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner.</li><li>Support medical procedures by preparing patients and assisting healthcare professionals during treatments such as catheter care or phlebotomy.</li><li>Maintain a safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols, especially in infectious disease or ICU settings.</li><li>Provide compassionate support to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia (including Alzheimer&rsquo;s and memory care), behavioral health needs, or those requiring hospice or palliative care.</li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care, emergency medicine, pediatric units (PICU), geriatrics, or outpatient clinics to deliver comprehensive patient service.</li><li>Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards while maintaining confidentiality of patient records and medical history.</li></ul><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are preferred.</li><li>Experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals (Level I Trauma Center experience preferred), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home &amp; community care settings.</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient safety protocols.</li><li>Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation.</li><li>Prior experience supporting patients with complex needs such as dementia care, geriatrics, pediatrics (including PICU), behavioral health conditions or post-acute/sub-acute care is highly valued.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments like urgent care centers or hospital medicine units while demonstrating excellent caregiving skills.</li><li>Strong communication skills combined with physical stamina to assist patients safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts and perform vital sign assessments.
