Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator/HR professional to join our team, combining expertise in Landscape,Hardscape,Concrete, Asphalt Work estimating with a strong focus on human resources responsibilities. Someone who don't mind getting into the field when needed !Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements using tools like HeavyBid and Bluebeam software.</li><li>Develop accurate cost projections for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.</li><li>Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms that align with project budgets.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to review project scopes, timelines, and budgets for feasibility and risk mitigation.</li><li>Assist in managing construction site activities by providing cost control insights, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to budgets throughout project execution.</li><li>Support HR functions by participating in recruitment efforts, onboarding new team members, and maintaining employee records related to construction management roles.</li><li>Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders on contractual matters, project progress, and cost adjustments to ensure transparency and alignment.</li><li>Quotes are sent out right away !</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in construction estimating with proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating software tools.</li><li>Don't mind getting into the field when help is needed.</li><li>Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.</li><li>Hands-on construction site experience coupled with knowledge of construction management practices.</li><li>Familiarity with contracts, project management principles, and cost control techniques within the construction industry.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams and negotiating with vendors or clients.</li><li>Knowledge of construction safety protocols and site operations is preferred.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
