Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator/HR professional to join our team, combining expertise in Landscape,Hardscape,Concrete, Asphalt Work estimating with a strong focus on human resources responsibilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to project success through precise cost analysis, effective negotiation, and comprehensive HR support. Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements using tools like HeavyBid and Bluebeam software.
• Develop accurate cost projections for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms that align with project budgets.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to review project scopes, timelines, and budgets for feasibility and risk mitigation.
• Assist in managing construction site activities by providing cost control insights, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to budgets throughout project execution.
• Support HR functions by participating in recruitment efforts, onboarding new team members, and maintaining employee records related to construction management roles.
• Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders on contractual matters, project progress, and cost adjustments to ensure transparency and alignment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating with proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating software tools.
• Don't mind getting into the field when help is needed.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
• Hands-on construction site experience coupled with knowledge of construction management practices.
• Familiarity with contracts, project management principles, and cost control techniques within the construction industry.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams and negotiating with vendors or clients.
• Knowledge of construction safety protocols and site operations is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
