We are seeking a General Laborer to join our team. Must be willing to work on a construction crew. The Laborer will be responsible for working at various job sites throughout the area and must be willing to work on a crew assisting in construction activities. Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):<ul><li>Drive Company Crew Truck to and from job sites</li><li>Loads and unloads materials on trucks up to 100 lbs.</li><li>Performs all phases of general and underground construction include but are not limited to: loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment</li><li>Restores and repairs all disturbed property including and not limited to: landscaping, concrete and asphalt</li><li>Operates and/or works around equipment such as, Jack Hammer, Jumping Jack, Piercing tools, Roto Hammer, Cut-Off Saw, Portable Water Pump, Saws-All, pedestals, cables, plastic conduit, shovel, rake, sledgehammer, pipe wrench, wire cutters, bolt cutters, cable cutters, drilling shafts, etc.</li><li>Maintains safe working habits/conditions at all times/adhere to company safety policy</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li><li>Works in and around operated machinery: backhoe, excavator, loader and compaction equipment</li><li>Frequent stooping, kneeling, Bending, squatting </li><li>Constant standing, lifting, twisting, walking</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:General<ul><li>High school diploma or GED</li><li>3 years experience in telecommunications or underground utilities industry</li></ul>Desired Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Must be able and willing to work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions</li><li>Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, up to 100 pounds</li><li>Must be able to maintain visual and audible contact with other people and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement</li><li>Must be able to operate or workaround heavy equipment and machinery</li><li>Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time</li><li>Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl while performing work</li><li>Must be able to ascend and descend ladders</li><li>Must be able to work in small/confined areas</li><li>Must be able to work while wearing safety boots, safety glasses, hardhat, and any applicable safety gear/PPE</li><li>Must be able to successfully pass a Pre-Employment background check and drug screen</li><li>Must have a valid California Drivers License</li></ul>Employment Status:<ul><li>Hourly; Non-Exempt</li><li>Full-time</li><li>Compensation based on L.O.E.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>La Puente, CA 91746 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>La Puente, CA 91746: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
