This role involves managing incoming mail, document processing, and maintaining accurate records using healthcare systems.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail</li><li>Separate and route checks to appropriate departments</li><li>Prepare and organize documents for scanning and indexing</li><li>Scan and index documents using OnBase system</li><li>Index electronic documents accurately into appropriate systems</li><li>Verify patient and encounter information using Epic</li><li>Manage assigned work queues within Epic</li><li>Maintain daily logs and spreadsheets using Excel</li><li>Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation and communication</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with document scanning, indexing, and data entry</li><li>Knowledge of Epic system (required)</li><li>Familiarity with OnBase system</li><li>Understanding of healthcare documentation including:</li><li>EOBs (Remittance Advice)</li><li>Authorization and denial letters</li><li>Patient and insurance correspondence</li><li>Medical record requests</li></ul>Technical Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)</li><li>Strong data entry and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>Additional Information<ul><li>This is an on-site role (not remote)</li><li>Potential for temp-to-perm opportunity</li></ul>Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hourApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have experience working with healthcare documentation such as EOBs (Remittance Advice), authorization and denial letters, patient and insurance correspondence, and medical record requests?
