This position is suitable for individuals who are eager to develop real-world analytical skills, work with structured and unstructured datasets, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Collect, clean, and structure datasets from multiple sources</li><li>Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies</li><li>Support business and product teams with actionable insights</li><li>Build dashboards and reports using BI and visualisation tools</li><li>Assist in A/B testing, user-behaviour analysis, and performance tracking</li><li>Write SQL queries to solve business questions and generate insights</li><li>Create visualisations for non-technical stakeholders</li><li>Clean and preprocess raw data using Python, SQL, or analytical tools</li><li>Participate in standups, sprint planning, and documentation workflows</li><li>Collaborate with engineering, product, growth, and marketing teams</li><li>Maintain documentation of datasets, schemas, and analysis processes</li><li>Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for data manipulation</li><li>Hands-on experience writing SQL queries (PostgreSQL preferred)</li><li>Understanding of statistics, probability, and analytical concepts</li><li>Ability to build charts, dashboards, and data-driven reports</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets</li><li>Ability to interpret analytical outcomes and convert them into insights</li><li>Knowledge of ETL concepts and basic data warehousing principles</li><li>Familiarity with APIs and JSON data formats</li><li>Experience with visualisation tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, Power BI)</li><li>Understanding of basic machine learning concepts (regression, clustering, classification)</li><li>Exposure to Git, version control, Notion/JIRA, or Agile environments</li><li>Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking</li></ul>About Job Nexus IndiaJob Nexus India is a staffing and recruitment firm that supports organisations by managing their hiring requirements.
