Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to join our team as a Cashier / Cook. This versatile role combines the fast-paced responsibilities of managing customer transactions with the creative and practical aspects of food preparation. Whether taking orders, handling payments, or preparing delicious meals, your proactive approach will drive our success and elevate the dining experience.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet customers warmly and efficiently process their orders at the cashier station, ensuring accuracy and speed.</li><li>Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain balanced cash drawers at all times.</li><li>Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, including meal assembly, food handling, and cooking techniques.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety protocols.</li><li>Assist in menu planning by suggesting daily specials or modifications based on available ingredients.</li><li>Serve food to customers with professionalism and a friendly attitude, ensuring a positive dining experience.</li><li>Support catering events or large orders by preparing bulk meals or specialty dishes as needed.</li><li>Follow all health regulations related to food preparation, storage, and serving to ensure safety for both staff and customers.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or culinary settings.</li><li>Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and fine dining service is preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques.</li><li>Experience in food safety practices, including proper sanitation and storage procedures.</li><li>Familiarity with catering services and serving large groups is a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Prior kitchen experience or involvement in the food industry will be considered an asset.
