Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to join our team as a Cashier / Cook. This versatile role combines the fast-paced responsibilities of managing customer transactions with the creative and practical aspects of food preparation. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and efficiently process their orders at the cashier station, ensuring accuracy and speed.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain balanced cash drawers at all times.
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, including meal assembly, food handling, and cooking techniques.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety protocols.
  • Assist in menu planning by suggesting daily specials or modifications based on available ingredients.
  • Serve food to customers with professionalism and a friendly attitude, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Support catering events or large orders by preparing bulk meals or specialty dishes as needed.
  • Follow all health regulations related to food preparation, storage, and serving to ensure safety for both staff and customers.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or culinary settings.
  • Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and fine dining service is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques.
  • Experience in food safety practices, including proper sanitation and storage procedures.
  • Familiarity with catering services and serving large groups is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
