Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team, delivering exceptional patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings. In this role, you will utilize your advanced nursing skills to assess, diagnose, and manage patient health needs, ensuring comprehensive treatment plans that promote women's health, wellness and recovery. Your expertise will support a wide range of medical services, including acute care, chronic disease management, and specialized procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your clinical knowledge and dedication will make a meaningful difference in patients&rsquo; lives.Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform, diagnose and treat Obstetric and Gyn patients.</li><li>Manage acute, chronic female conditions and pregnancies utilizing evidence-based practices, including medication administration and natural and hormonal therapy,</li><li>Perform specialized procedures such ablations, colposcopies, leeps, tag removals and other treatments while maintaining strict sterile techniques.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients across outpatient clinics, inpatient units, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care settings.</li><li>Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, and Athenahealth for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records.</li><li>Provide triage services via in-person consultations to prioritize urgent cases and coordinate timely interventions.</li><li>Engage in clinical research projects or quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and uphold NCQA standards.</li><li>Educate patients on health management strategies including nutrition, medication adherence, pain management techniques, and health coaching.</li><li>Assist with discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and working within commercial, military and Medicare frameworks when applicable.</li><li>Support infection control protocols and participate in laboratory specimen collection/processing as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assiss license with current certification in advanced practice nursing.</li><li>Demonstrated experience with Athena EMR systems or similar EHR platforms such as EPIC or eClinicalWorks.</li><li>Strong clinical skills including suturing, ultrasound, IUD insertion, catheter care, and sterile processing techniques.</li><li>Experience working across multiple specialties of Obstetrical and Gynecological medicine, internal medicine, or critical care and high risk labor and delivery environments .</li><li>Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation using ICD-10 coding systems; CPT coding knowledge is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote patient assessments.</li><li>Knowledge of physiology principles relevant to fetal and maternal assessments.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including patients with language disabilities or those requiring mental care or depression support.</li><li>Prior experience in hospital medicine or post-acute care settings is a plus.</li><li>Excellent patient care skills combined with strong communication abilities; capable of working under pressure in acute pain management or emergency situations.
