About the Role:We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Legal Administrative Assistant to provide extensive support to attorneys in our active litigation and bankruptcy practice groups. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with legal teams to deliver outstanding service to clients.Responsibilities Include:<ul><li>Drafting, editing, and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and reports</li><li>Managing attorneys&rsquo; calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating court appearances</li><li>Assisting with filing legal pleadings and other documentation with courts and administrative agencies</li><li>Organizing and maintaining case files, both digital and paper</li><li>Processing time entries and preparing client billing</li><li>Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism</li><li>Communicating with clients, courts, and third-party vendors on behalf of attorneys</li><li>Supporting trial preparation including compiling exhibits, preparing binders, and managing logistics</li><li>Performing other duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience required</li><li>Previous experience in a legal administrative or litigation support role</li><li>Familiarity with, or the ability to rapidly acquire, relevant court rules and procedures</li><li>Knowledge of bankruptcy law is a plus</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Full-time position &ndash; Monday through Friday with a schedule of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.</li><li>Operates in a professional office setting using standard office equipment.</li><li>Some physical activity required (e.g., lifting boxes of supplies, standing, and bending)</li><li>Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment with shifting priorities.</li></ul>This job description is meant to be a representative summary of the major responsibilities of this job.
