 Role Overview
 
 
 
 The Manager &ndash; Trading will lead and grow the Trading Department by driving sales, market expansion, and brand development for JTC&rsquo;s OEM product portfolio. The role focuses on developing strong agency relationships, expanding market presence, and delivering sustainable revenue and profitability in line with approved business plans.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 Strategy &amp; Business Growth
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and execute the annual trading business plan, sales strategy, and budget.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, segments, and product lines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor market trends, competition, and customer dynamics to support strategic decisions.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 OEM &amp; Agency Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Identify, evaluate, and secure new OEM brands and distributorship opportunities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead commercial due diligence and negotiations for agency agreements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as the business owner for represented brands, ensuring performance and compliance with agreements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing brands.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Sales &amp; Key Account Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead all B2B sales activities across major accounts and local markets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive key account strategies to build long-term customer partnerships.
 </li>
 <li>
 Approve pricing, commercial terms, tenders, quotations, and proposals.
 </li>

 Marketing &amp; Market Intelligence
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Oversee market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure effective execution of marketing and promotional initiatives in coordination with internal teams and OEMs.
 </li>

 Team Leadership &amp; Performance Management

 <li>
 Recruit, lead, and develop the trading sales team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Set KPIs, targets, and performance standards; conduct regular reviews.
 </li>
 <li>
 Foster a high-performance, ethical, and customer-focused culture.
 </li>

 Reporting, Governance &amp; Compliance
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ensure accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain compliance with company policies, QHSE standards, and governance requirements.
 </li>

 Identify business risks and support continuous improvement initiatives.
 </li>

 Key Requirements
 
 
 
 
 Education
 
 
 <ul>

 Graduate or Diploma in Engineering, Commerce, or Management.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Experience
 
 
 <ul>

 Minimum 2+ years as Assistant Manager or Manager in trading, sales, or business development of industrial products or machinery.
 </li>
 </ul>
