Role Overview
The Manager – Trading will lead and grow the Trading Department by driving sales, market expansion, and brand development for JTC’s OEM product portfolio. The role focuses on developing strong agency relationships, expanding market presence, and delivering sustainable revenue and profitability in line with approved business plans.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Growth

Develop and execute the annual trading business plan, sales strategy, and budget.

Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, segments, and product lines.

Monitor market trends, competition, and customer dynamics to support strategic decisions.
OEM & Agency Management
-
Identify, evaluate, and secure new OEM brands and distributorship opportunities.

Lead commercial due diligence and negotiations for agency agreements.
-
Act as the business owner for represented brands, ensuring performance and compliance with agreements.

Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing brands.
Sales & Key Account Management

Lead all B2B sales activities across major accounts and local markets.

Drive key account strategies to build long-term customer partnerships.

Approve pricing, commercial terms, tenders, quotations, and proposals.
Marketing & Market Intelligence

Oversee market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights.

Ensure effective execution of marketing and promotional initiatives in coordination with internal teams and OEMs.
Team Leadership & Performance Management

Recruit, lead, and develop the trading sales team.

Set KPIs, targets, and performance standards; conduct regular reviews.

Foster a high-performance, ethical, and customer-focused culture.
Reporting, Governance & Compliance

Ensure accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting.

Maintain compliance with company policies, QHSE standards, and governance requirements.

Identify business risks and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements
Education
-
Graduate or Diploma in Engineering, Commerce, or Management.
Experience
-
Minimum 2+ years as Assistant Manager or Manager in trading, sales, or business development of industrial products or machinery.
