Job Summary As a Registered Dental Hygienist in our pediatric office, you will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring a comfortable environment for our young patients.Job Description includes but is not limited to:1. Scaling/polishing and taking of x-rays of patients2. When needed the tear down and set up of exam rooms3. Going over hygiene instructions with patient and patient's parents4. Documenting - requires computer competency5. Team playerJoin our dedicated team to make a positive impact on children's oral health!Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation review, and record management.</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical coding standards.</li><li>Experience or some in pediatric dentistry and pediatrics-specific patient care strategies to accommodate young patients comfortably.</li><li>Skilled in chairside assisting with a focus on aseptic technique, medical imaging, and managing medical emergencies if needed.</li><li>Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and recognize signs of medical or dental issues requiring immediate attention.</li><li>Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient documentation review, data entry, and record keeping.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively while demonstrating professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
