Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. This role involves developing and implementing curriculum, managing classroom activities, and supporting the growth and development of children.Responsibilities<ul><li>Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote literacy, math, and physical education.</li><li>Develop curriculum tailored to the needs of diverse learners, including those requiring special education and early intervention.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.</li><li>Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and assistance with standardized testing preparation.</li><li>Foster a safe and inclusive environment that supports childhood development and child welfare.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessments.</li><li>Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience through shared resources and strategies.</li><li>Supervise classroom aides or volunteers as needed to ensure effective classroom management.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential; private school experience is a plus.</li><li>Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with Montessori methods or other innovative teaching strategies is advantageous.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.</li><li>Proven ability in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.</li><li>Experience in literacy education, math instruction, teaching physical education, or tutoring is highly desirable.</li><li>A genuine passion for teaching and commitment to fostering an enriching learning environment for all students.
