This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in early childhood education while making a lasting impact on students&rsquo; growth and well-being.Duties<ul><li>Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson planning, and instructional support to ensure a dynamic learning environment</li><li>Support children&rsquo;s social, emotional, and developmental needs through attentive caregiving and behavior management strategies</li><li>Help supervise children during indoor activities, outdoor play, mealtimes, nap times, and transitions to maintain safety and order</li><li>Implement classroom routines and activities that foster early childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, infant care, and special education programs</li><li>Provide first aid when necessary and follow health and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all children</li><li>Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance under supervision</li><li>Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior reports, and developmental progress to support ongoing assessments</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Experience working with children in preschool, daycare, nannying or babysitting roles; familiarity with early childhood education principles is highly valued</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development milestones and best practices for working with individuals with disabilities or special needs</li><li>Strong classroom management skills to promote positive behavior and engagement among young learners</li><li>Ability to provide infant care, toddler care, and childcare in diverse settings while maintaining patience and compassion</li><li>First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification promptly; understanding of health protocols for young children</li><li>Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and team members</li><li>Demonstrated ability to support behavior management strategies and create a nurturing environment that encourages growth</li></ul>This role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to contribute to early childhood education while developing their professional expertise.
