Job Title: Inventory AssistantDepartment: Inventory / Warehouse / Supply Chain Location: ThrissurJob SummaryThe Inventory Assistant is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through regular stock audits, system updates, and coordination with cross-functional teams. The role ensures stock accuracy, proper documentation, timely resolution of discrepancies, and effective reporting to support planning and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical verifications to ensure inventory accuracy.</li><li>Track stock movements including inward, outward, inter-warehouse/store transfers, adjustments, and returns, ensuring real-time system updates.</li><li>Investigate stock variances and coordinate with warehouse and store teams to identify and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely documentation such as GRN, GRC, stock transfer notes, and inventory adjustment entries.</li><li>Maintain and monitor records for damaged, aged, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.</li><li>Coordinate with purchase, warehouse, and store teams to resolve pending stock issues and discrepancies.</li><li>Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling standards to prevent damage, shrinkage, or misplacement of textile items.</li><li>Track arrival shortages and follow up with warehouse teams and suppliers until closure.</li><li>Provide accurate stock availability, consumption, and movement reports to support the planning team.</li><li>Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly inventory MIS reports with management.</li><li>Support continuous improvement in inventory control and stock management processes.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems (ERP/WMS).</li><li>High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.</li><li>Good coordination and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Ability to handle high-volume data and meet reporting deadlines.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.</li><li>1&ndash;3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role (preferred).</li><li>Experience in retail, textile, FMCG, or distribution environments is an advantage.</li></ul>Preferred Attributes<ul><li>Process-oriented and organized</li><li>Problem-solving mindset</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment</li><li>Willingness to visit warehouses/stores if required</li></ul>Interested candidates may share their CV at hrd@kalyansilks.com or WhatsApp at 9249089603.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Leave encashment</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person

Job Title: Buying Assistant Location: Thrissur Reporting To:Job SummaryThe Buying Assistant will support the Buying and Inventory teams by monitoring stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment, coordinating purchase orders, and maintaining optimal inventory availability across warehouses and stores. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent coordination, and advanced Excel capabilities to manage high-volume data and prepare accurate inventory reports.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Monitor stock levels across warehouses and retail stores to ensure adequate availability.</li><li>Prepare purchase plans based on sales trends, stock movement, and inventory requirements.</li><li>Coordinate with the Purchase team to ensure purchase orders (POs) are raised and placed on time.</li><li>Work closely with the Inventory team and PO Loading team to ensure timely loading and processing of POs.</li><li>Track ordered goods and ensured on-time delivery to warehouses and retail branches.</li><li>Ensure accurate allocation of inventory from warehouses to stores as per planned distribution.</li><li>Resolve discrepancies related to stock, delivery, or allocation in coordination with internal teams.</li><li>Prepare, analyze, and present inventory-related data and insights to management.</li><li>Generate and share daily, weekly, and monthly inventory MIS reports.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchase orders, and stock movements.</li><li>Support continuous improvement in inventory planning and replenishment processes.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including handling large datasets, pivot tables, formulas, and reports.</li><li>Good analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Strong coordination and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Basic understanding of inventory management, purchasing, and supply chain processes.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.</li><li>1&ndash;3 years of experience in buying inventory management, merchandising, or a similar role (preferred).</li><li>Experience in retail, FMCG, or distribution environments is an added advantage.</li></ul>Preferred Attributes<ul><li>Organized and process-driven mindset</li><li>Problem-solving attitude</li><li>Comfortable working with high-volume data</li><li>Willingness to learn and adapt to business needs</li></ul>Interested candidates may share their CV at hrd@kalyansilks.com or WhatsApp at 9249089603.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Food provided</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
