Position Summary We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations and general administration.This is a hands-on position that goes beyond typical HR work. In addition to HR responsibilities, this person will perform a variety of administrative and operational tasks as requested by management.The role is mostly remote, with occasional on-site work in our Fremont office (about once per week or as needed). This setup is ideal for someone who values flexibility while remaining engaged with the local team.Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain personnel files, attendance, and HR records in compliance with company policies and labor laws</li><li>Monitor and help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations</li><li>Update and maintain HR policies, forms, and internal procedures</li><li>Process payroll data and benefits information accurately and on time</li><li>Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and offboarding</li><li>Support training programs, performance reviews, and internal communications</li><li>Assist with documentation and audits for ISO and other compliance requirements</li><li>Arrange housing and related logistics for expatriate employees and visitors from overseas (e.g., leases, move-in/move-out, utilities)</li><li>Prepare reports, forms, and other documents as directed by management</li><li>Provide administrative support to Finance (invoices, filing, expense reports)</li><li>Coordinate company events, meetings, and employee communications</li><li>Handle general administrative duties and special tasks assigned by the Vice President</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and uphold data privacy standards</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>2&ndash;5 years of experience in HR, payroll, or administrative work</li><li>Working knowledge of HR processes, compliance, documentation, and confidentiality requirements</li><li>Ability to handle general administrative responsibilities beyond HR</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with HR/payroll systems</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks</li></ul>Why Join Us<ul><li>Be part of a small, growing team where your work makes a difference</li><li>Exposure to business operations in a global environment</li><li>Work in a collaborative, respectful, and stable workplace culture</li><li>Enjoy a flexible, mostly remote work environment with occasional on-site collaboration</li></ul>About the CompanyKashiyama-USA, Inc. is a U.S. subsidiary of a global Japanese manufacturer of vacuum pumps used in semiconductor manufacturing.We provide high-quality products, repair, testing, and logistics services to leading semiconductor customers.
