Position Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations and general administration.

This is a hands-on position that goes beyond typical HR work. In addition to HR responsibilities, this person will perform a variety of administrative and operational tasks as requested by management.

The role is mostly remote, with occasional on-site work in our Fremont office (about once per week or as needed). This setup is ideal for someone who values flexibility while remaining engaged with the local team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain personnel files, attendance, and HR records in compliance with company policies and labor laws
  • Monitor and help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
  • Update and maintain HR policies, forms, and internal procedures
  • Process payroll data and benefits information accurately and on time
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and offboarding
  • Support training programs, performance reviews, and internal communications
  • Assist with documentation and audits for ISO and other compliance requirements
  • Arrange housing and related logistics for expatriate employees and visitors from overseas (e.g., leases, move-in/move-out, utilities)
  • Prepare reports, forms, and other documents as directed by management
  • Provide administrative support to Finance (invoices, filing, expense reports)
  • Coordinate company events, meetings, and employee communications
  • Handle general administrative duties and special tasks assigned by the Vice President
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold data privacy standards

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in HR, payroll, or administrative work
  • Working knowledge of HR processes, compliance, documentation, and confidentiality requirements
  • Ability to handle general administrative responsibilities beyond HR
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with HR/payroll systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
