 &ldquo;International Logistics Sourcing Specialist"
 
 in Supply Chain team. The position is based in
 
 &ldquo;Altunizade, &Idot;stanbul.&rdquo;
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage end-to-end procurement processes across all transportation modes, including sea, road, air, and intermodal transportation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Actively monitor and report on the container market, capacity changes by shipping line, and freight trends.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze bunker movements and forecast their cost impact.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop logistics procurement strategies by establishing the right balance between spot and contract rates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Make data-driven decisions by effectively using freight benchmark and data platforms such as Xeneta, World Container Index (WCI), Transporeon, Upply, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct strong negotiations with global and local carriers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan, manage, and finalize tender processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead price, service, and contract negotiations with suppliers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Measure and improve supplier performance based on KPIs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop alternative transportation models, route optimization initiatives, and cost-saving projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct warehouse feasibility and costing studies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare logistics budgeting activities and develop methods to improve costs in line with budget targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, accurately analyze business needs, and develop appropriate logistics procurement models.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Skills
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of all transportation modes, including sea, air, road, and intermodal transportation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid understanding of container shipping and the global freight market.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical and reporting skills, with advanced Excel knowledge; BI experience is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to use logistics procurement platforms, freight benchmark tools, and data platforms effectively.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good command of English is preferred.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Experience
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics procurement and/or sourcing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in corporate and service procurement platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous experience in a shipping line is preferred.
 </li>
