Global Raw Material Supply Director

Kastamonu Entegre Ağaç Sanayi, one of the two locomotive companies of Hayat Holding, was established in 1969 for production in the wooden panel industry and today has become a global power, ranking 1st in Türkiye, 3rd in Europe, and 4th worldwide in its field.

Kastamonu Entegre Headquarters is looking for a “Global Raw Material Supply Director”.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating raw material supply operations in line with the requirements of the company’s domestic and international manufacturing plants.
• Leading the supply strategy for recycled materials, industrial wood residues and wood-based raw materials to ensure sustainable, cost-effective and uninterrupted raw material availability for domestic and international plants.
• Ensuring effective coordination between related departments by considering quality, quantity and timing requirements in raw material supply.
• Monitoring raw material stock levels by wood type across all plants and maintaining balanced inventory practices in accordance with production plans.
• Ensuring supply continuity while optimizing stock levels through effective raw material planning and inventory management.
• Developing industrial and private afforestation projects to support the long-term sustainability of wood and raw material resources.
• Managing relationships with the General Directorate of Forestry as the primary supplier, as well as alternative suppliers, to strengthen partnerships and develop effective supply solutions.
• Evaluating the performance of wood suppliers, planning necessary actions and following up on implementation.
• Monitoring market trends and developments related to raw material supply and providing senior management with regular reports, analyses and strategic insights.
• Conducting international market research and field visits to identify alternative sourcing and import opportunities when domestic resources are insufficient.
• Coordinating FSC certification compliance processes and ensuring the continuity of certification standards and requirements.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Engineering or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of raw material supply, preferably in wood-based panels, forestry, wood supply or related industries.
• Strong planning, coordination and supply chain management skills.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and develop alternative supply sources.
• Strong analytical thinking and reporting skills.
• Strategic perspective with the ability to support long-term sustainable supply projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with public institutions, suppliers and internal business units.
• Knowledge of sustainability, forestry practices and certification processes; FSC knowledge is a strong asset.
• Result-oriented, proactive and solution-focused working style.
• Fluency in English is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in raw material supply, supply chain, forestry, purchasing or related fields.
• Leadership experience in managing teams and strategic supply processes.
• Experience in wood, forestry, paper, wood-based panels or manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Experience in managing domestic and international suppliers is an asset.
• Experience in import processes, supplier performance management and stock planning is preferred.
• Knowledge of FSC certification and sustainable sourcing processes is considered a plus.
