The Civil Foreman will be responsible for supervising, managing, and coordinating daily operations at the railway construction site to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of the project.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supervision &amp; Coordination:</li><li>Supervise and direct construction workers, ensuring that tasks are completed according to project specifications.</li><li>Ensure that work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.</li><li>Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for project execution.</li><li>Project Management:</li><li>Oversee day-to-day activities on the railway construction site, ensuring progress aligns with the project schedule.</li><li>Monitor and report on work progress, including any delays, issues, or deviations from the planned schedule.</li><li>Assist in the planning and execution of civil works related to railway tracks, embankments, bridges, tunnels, stations, and other infrastructure.</li><li>Safety &amp; Compliance:</li><li>Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to company and regulatory safety standards.</li><li>Conduct daily safety checks and address any potential hazards on-site.</li><li>Ensure all work complies with the environmental and regulatory guidelines relevant to railway construction.</li><li>Quality Control:</li><li>Inspect the quality of work on-site to ensure it meets the standards set by the company and regulatory bodies.</li><li>Ensure that materials used in the construction process are of high quality and meet project specifications.</li><li>Team Management:</li><li>Lead and manage a team of skilled and unskilled workers.</li><li>Provide training and mentorship to junior workers and new team members.</li><li>Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to team members based on skills and work requirements.</li><li>Material Management:</li><li>Ensure the timely availability of required materials for construction work.</li><li>Maintain records of materials used and report any discrepancies to the project manager.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Reporting:</li><li>Maintain accurate records of daily activities, manpower, and material usage.</li><li>Submit regular reports on site progress, issues, and achievements to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.</li><li>Problem Solving:</li><li>Identify and resolve any construction-related issues on-site, such as delays, worker concerns, or material shortages.</li><li>Provide on-site solutions to keep the project on track.</li></ul>Key Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience in railway construction projects, with expertise in managing civil works related to railway infrastructure.</li><li>Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Strong leadership, supervisory, and team management skills.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of railway construction, including track laying, earthworks, bridges, tunnels, and station infrastructure.</li><li>Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards</li></ul>Contact Person &ndash; Anil RawatContact Details- 9045450439/ anil@katc.co.inJob Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;12,263.59 - &#8377;28,020.69 per monthWork Location: In person
