Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This vital role combines front-office administrative support with clinical assistance, ensuring smooth patient flow and exceptional care delivery. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a positive patient experience. You will perform a variety of duties including patient intake, vital signs collection, medical documentation, and basic clinical procedures across outpatient and inpatient settings. Experience working in a medical office (front and back office) is a plus.Duties<ul><li>Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in/check-out processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems</li><li>Collect patient information, update medical histories, and verify insurance details accurately</li><li>Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to assist clinicians in diagnosis and treatment planning</li><li>Support physicians during examinations by preparing supplies and documenting clinical notes with precision</li><li>Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up reminders, and patient inquiries to ensure seamless clinic operations</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience in working in a medical office is preferred</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology.</li><li>Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and data entry</li><li>Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as X-ray tech or medication administration are advantageous</li><li>Strong patient service skills with the ability to handle intake procedures efficiently and compassionately</li><li>Ability to perform vital signs collection accurately and assist with clinical procedures in outpatient or inpatient environments/</li><li>Bilingual in both Spanish and English.</li></ul>Join our dedicated team where your skills directly impact patient health outcomes!
