We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Preschool Lead Teacher to join our early childhood program in a co-teaching classroom environment. This position works alongside another Lead Teacher to design and implement a high-quality preschool program that supports children&rsquo;s social, emotional, and cognitive development while fostering curiosity, creativity, and independence.Position SummaryThe Preschool Lead Teacher is responsible for partnering with a co-teacher to plan curriculum, guide classroom practices, and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children. The ideal candidate values collaboration, strong communication, and shared leadership in the classroom.Essential Responsibilities<ul><li>Collaborate with a co-teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning experiences</li><li>Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom community that supports children&rsquo;s social-emotional growth</li><li>Observe and document children&rsquo;s learning and development</li><li>Provide positive behavior guidance and support individual learning needs</li><li>Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment</li><li>Communicate regularly with families regarding children&rsquo;s development and classroom activities</li><li>Ensure compliance with all state licensing requirements and program policies</li><li>Participate in staff meetings, training opportunities, and program initiatives</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred</li><li>Previous experience as a preschool teacher strongly preferred</li><li>Ability to work effectively within a collaborative co-teaching model</li><li>Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills</li><li>CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>Must meet all applicable state licensing requirements for lead teachers</li></ul>Employment Details<ul><li>Full-time position</li><li>Competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience</li><li>Supportive team environment with opportunities for professional growth</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $17.25 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
