About the Role: Keer Keer Creative, a growing boutique digital agency in Woodbury, MN, is seeking a talented Contract WordPress Web Designer to join our team. We specialize in website development, e-commerce, branding, and digital UX.We are looking for a &quot;hybrid&quot; creative: someone who can design beautiful high-fidelity mockups in Adobe and build them pixel-perfectly into WordPress. We pride ourselves on staying ahead of the curve, so we are looking for a designer who understands not just how a website looks, but how it is read by both Google and the next generation of AI search tools.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design &amp; Build: Design high-end user interfaces and build them out into responsive WordPress websites (specifically using the Avada theme).</li><li>Future-Proof SEO: Implement standard SEO best practices and emerging AI Search Optimization strategies</li></ul>This includes using structured data (Schema), optimizing for natural language search, and ensuring content is formatted for visibility in AI engines (like ChatGPT ).<ul><li>Client Collaboration: Collaborate with the Creative Director and clients during design interviews to translate their vision into reality.</li><li>Asset Creation: Use Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop) to create refined website assets and icons.</li><li>Project Management: Manage portions of client projects, meeting deadlines and communicating progress clearly.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in WordPress web design with a strong portfolio.</li><li>Location: Twin Cities (MN/WI) area preferred,but we are open to fully remote (US-based) candidates with the right skillset.</li><li>Note for remote applicants:</li><li>You must be available for collaboration during standard</li><li>Central Standard Time (CST)</li><li>business hours.</li><li>Theme Proficiency: Strong familiarity with the Avada Theme/Fusion Builder (or a demonstrated ability to learn complex themes rapidly).</li><li>Search Proficiency: Proven understanding of Technical SEO and an interest in AI Search Optimization (knowing how to structure web data for machines/LLMs).</li><li>Design Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator &amp; Photoshop).</li><li>Communication: Exceptional communication skills are a must.
