Job description:Responsibilities:<ul><li>Request design packs from designers</li><li>Review design pack and check for discrepancies and add necessary pages (fabric, art and trim codes).</li><li>Assign fabric and trim codes when needed.</li><li>Submit completed design tech pack with all information to production for costing.</li><li>Work on all yields (solids, random and placement prints, matching plaids/ stripes, etc.) with grading/ marking department.</li><li>Work with graphic/ design on any artwork changes and placements</li><li>Scale artwork based on cads and get approved by design.</li><li>Work on cost options when price challenged.</li><li>Gather all buck presses and color standards and pass to production. Send to accounts for approval when needed.</li><li>Attend all production fittings to call out any cost issues or things that can affect cost.</li><li>Responsible for all approvals including artwork &amp; embroidery placements.</li><li>Liaison between all departments and factories</li><li>Attend private label meetings.</li><li>Request fabrics and trims from factories.</li><li>Responsible for fabric sourcing and developing.</li><li>Owns denim and sportswear approval process including shade bands.</li><li>Work closely with Target on approvals through their system.</li></ul>Qualifications/Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Fashion/Production related field</li><li>Denim experience required</li><li>3-5 years of experience</li><li>Experience with the apparel design process from concept through to production</li><li>Proficient in Excel and strong understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop</li></ul>Please include work samples or portfolio with resume.$73,000 - $75,000 annuallyKellwood is an equal-opportunity employer.
