Part-Time Accounting Assistant (High-Responsibility Role) Kelly Greens Golf &amp; Country Club Fort Myers, FLAbout the Role We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Assistant to support core accounting functions in a fast-paced club environment. This is not an entry-level position &mdash; we are looking for someone who can work independently, stay organized under pressure, and take ownership of their responsibilities.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform daily closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and POS balancing</li><li>Process accounts payable: invoice entry, coding, and timely follow-up with department heads</li><li>Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing and reporting</li><li>Respond to member billing inquiries with professionalism and accuracy</li><li>Maintain organized records and support month-end close activities</li><li>Ensure deadlines are consistently met (weekly AP cutoff, payroll timelines, month-end tasks)</li><li>Identify and communicate discrepancies proactively</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>2+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience (AP and payroll required)</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Strong attention to detail &mdash; accuracy is critical in this role</li><li>Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines</li><li>Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (experience with Jonas or similar preferred)</li><li>Clear, professional communication skills</li></ul>Work Schedule<ul><li>Part-time: 20&ndash;30 hours per week</li><li>Must be available to meet critical deadlines (e.g., weekly AP processing and payroll)</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>$23&ndash;$24 per hour, based on experience</li></ul>Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hourWork Location: In person
