 Our client, a leading telecommunications provider, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. This individual will be on a long-term contract with the opportunity to convert and work in a hybrid environment in Denver, CO. This is the ideal opportunity for a driven professional with 1-2 years of experience looking to gain further knowledge in full-stack development practices.
 
 
 
 
 Core Responsibilities
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design, modify, develop, and maintain software applications and supporting systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Translate functional requirements into technical design specifications and implementation plans
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in agile development activities (e.g., 2-week sprints, standups, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with engineers to ensure code quality, consistency, and maintainability through reviews and shared technical standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and maintain reliable front-end and back-end features across the stack
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and publish modular packages/components and APIs (e.g., internal libraries or public-style packages)
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain strong testing discipline and contribute to improving automated coverage and reliability
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot complex issues across unfamiliar systems by applying systematic debugging and systems thinking
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent practical mastery)
 </li>
 <li>
 React: 2+ years of experience with front-end development
 </li>
 <li>
 NodeJS (e.g., Express/Hapi or similar): 2+ years of experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Python (FastAPI preferred; Django/Flask acceptable)
 </li>
 <li>
 Relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred): 2+ years of experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Browser/API/E2E testing experience with at least one of: Playwright/Selenium (2+ years)
 </li>
 <li>
 Linux experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Full-stack development experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Containerization and deployment experience and working knowledge of CI/CD container workflows
 </li>
 <li>
 WebSocket experience (e.g., Socket.IO)
 </li>
 <li>
 Go (Golang) experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Networking exposure (TCP/IP fundamentals, troubleshooting networked systems)
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience integrating third-party APIs
 </li>
 <li>
 Test-driven development (TDD) experience
 </li>
 <li>
 DevOps exposure (e.g., operational ownership, CI/CD pipeline improvements, reliability practices)
 </li>
 </ul>

 Compensation &amp; Benefits
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between
 
 $90,000 and $105,000.
 
 Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
