Kenny&rsquo;s Canine is hiring an experienced Pet Care Specialist to provide dog walking, pet sitting, and farm animal care, including horses and goats. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with commission-based compensation.This role is best suited for someone confident in handling large animals, comfortable working independently, and seeking flexible, performance-based income.&lt;Responsibilities&gt;<ul><li>Professional dog walking (all sizes and temperaments)</li><li>Drop-in pet sitting visits</li><li>Overnight pet sitting (in client homes, as assigned)</li><li>Feeding, watering, turnout, and monitoring of horses and goats</li><li>Hay replenishment and basic barn care</li><li>Administering medications (if experienced)</li><li>Detailed updates through our client management app</li><li>Maintaining high safety and care standards</li></ul>&lt;Requirements&gt;<ul><li>Experience in dog handling, pet or pet sitting preferred</li><li>Hands-on horse handling experience (required)</li><li>Farm animal experience (goats preferred)</li><li>Dog handling experience (professional preferred)</li><li>Reliable vehicle and valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work in all weather conditions</li><li>Weekend and holiday availability (rotating)</li><li>Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for cleaning or moving supplies and animals</li><li>Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members</li><li>Basic understanding of dog training techniques and behavioral management</li><li>Prior kennel experience or veterinary experience is highly desirable</li><li>Compassionate attitude combined with energetic enthusiasm for caring for animals in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>Join us in creating a caring community where pets are treated like family!
