Job Summary: Provide office support HR related duties for Kent Moore Cabinets and assists with payroll processing.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.</li><li>Conducts benefits enrollment for new employees.</li><li>Verifies I-9 documentation and completes I-9 forms; tracks and initiates updates as required.</li><li>Submits online investigation requests and assists with employee background checks.</li><li>Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs; recommends any corrective action.</li><li>Answers and screens telephone calls.</li><li>Assists supervisor with Paycom/payroll issues and/or questions.</li><li>Updates HR spreadsheets with employee change requests and processes paperwork.</li><li>Assists with processing terminations.</li><li>Assists with the preparation of performance review forms.</li><li>Assists HR Director with various research projects and/or special projects.</li><li>Assists with the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding process. Including Orientation.</li><li>Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by HR Director.</li><li>Schedules meetings and travel as needed.</li><li>Makes photocopies, faxes documents, and performs other clerical functions.</li><li>Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files.</li><li>Prepares correspondence and processes mail.</li><li>Prepares new employee files.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>&middot; All other duties as requested by supervisor.Qualifications:&middot; BS degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience preferred.&middot; Proficient Spanish Language and speaking skills preferred.&middot; Prior experience with data entry, administration, and computer skills is required.&middot; Prior experience with Paycom is preferred.&middot; Advanced training or certification in HR preferred.&middot; Good written and verbal communications skills with attention to detail.&middot; Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, Open Office &amp; Power Point.&middot; Ability to handle stressful situations when they arise and use sound judgment.&middot; Exceptional attendance.Essential Functions of the Job: &middot; Sits for several hours or more per day.&middot; May stand and walk several hours per day.&middot; Sometimes lifts and carries heavy objects.&middot; Bends, stretches, reaches and twists while performing duties of the job.&middot; Frequently uses fingers to operate telephone, grasp and use writing implements and papers, operate calculator and computer, and perform other job duties.&middot; Must have correction vision to:i) Complete forms and other necessary paperworkii) Be aware of surroundings and location of items needediii) Perform various job duties&middot; Must have corrected hearing to listen to:i) needs of customers in person and over the telephoneii) needs and advice from supervisor and co-workersiii) the environment to be aware of surroundings&middot; Must be able to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, and customers, both over the phone and in person.&middot; Must be alert and able to identify a hazard, should one occur, in order to avoid it, by correcting immediately or reporting immediately as necessary.Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are you able to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Spanish (Preferred)</li><li>English (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
