Job Description: Local Class A CDL Driver Weekends Off Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating CDL-A semi and chassis/container. This role requires a commitment to delivering freight on time while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: per week Schedule: Monday Friday, Home Daily, Weekends Off Benefits: <UL><LI>401(k) <LI>Dental insurance <LI>Health insurance <LI>Paid time off <LI>Vision insurance</ul> Ability to Relocate: Columbus, OH 43207: Relocate before starting work (Required) Duties: <UL><LI>Operate and drive tractor-trailers, <LI>Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while following established routes. <LI>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. <LI>Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and any incidents that occur during transport. <LI>Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. <LI>Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a clean driving record. <LI>Assist in training new drivers on safe driving practices and company policies.</ul> Qualifications: <UL><LI>Valid Commercial Driver s License (CDL) is required. <LI>Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of route driving and delivery processes. <LI>Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred. <LI>3 YEARS Experience Required <LI>Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. <LI>Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. <LI>Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies. <LI>Must be at least 21 years old to comply with federal regulations for commercial driving.</ul> Join our team today if you are passionate about driving and committed to delivering exceptional service!
