Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder Helper/Laborer to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing team. In this role, you will assist skilled welders in preparing materials, handling tools, and ensuring safety protocols are followed on the job site. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and grow within a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Support welders by preparing materials, including cutting, cleaning, and organizing components for welding tasks</li><li>Assist with MIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG welding, and other welding processes as directed by senior team members</li><li>Handle hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment safely and efficiently</li><li>Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications</li><li>Perform basic measurements using calipers, schematics, and other measurement tools to ensure accuracy</li><li>Aid in pipe bending, tube fabrication, and assembly of piping systems according to ASME codes &amp; standards</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area</li><li>Assist in routine maintenance tasks on tools and equipment to ensure optimal operation</li><li>Follow all safety guidelines related to welding, construction, pipeline work, and general labor activities</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments preferred but not required</li><li>Basic knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, TIG; familiarity with welding standards is a plus</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately</li><li>Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment</li><li>Understanding of basic math concepts for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks</li><li>Strong work ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures diligently</li><li>Physical stamina to stand for long periods; ability to lift heavy materials safely; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as needed</li></ul>Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hourWork Location: In person
