This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and specialty drinks with precision and care.</li><li>Operate POS systems such as Toast or Square POS to process sales efficiently and accurately.</li><li>Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cash register operations and cashiering duties, ensuring accuracy at all times.</li><li>Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including food preparation stations and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards.</li><li>Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support daily operations.</li><li>Use effective time management skills to balance multiple tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous barista experience or background in food service is highly preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or Square is a plus.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing.</li><li>Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed.
