Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and specialty drinks with precision and care.
• Operate POS systems such as Toast or Square POS to process sales efficiently and accurately.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cash register operations and cashiering duties, ensuring accuracy at all times.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards.
• Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support daily operations.
• Use effective time management skills to balance multiple tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or background in food service is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or Square is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing.
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
